GM-40 Series

The GM-40 series of detectors are designed to be used with all RAM DA2000 Radiation Monitors for measuring gamma radiation over a very wide range. Combined with the special features of the RAM DA 2000 monitors, these detectors make an excellent choice for maintaining the highest safety standards in industrial, medical, research, environmental and public safety applications.
The GM-40 detectors are encased in a rugged, splash proof housing for protection against shock, vibration and humidity.

A low voltage interface connects the RAM DA 2000 monitor and detector.Therefore each detector contains the appropriate GM tube and high voltage power supply, pulse shaper, GM saturation indicator, detector identifier and malfunction detection circuitry. This configuration minimizes noise, improving sensitivity and stability.
