Diagnostica is an Israeli based technology innovator, developing a unique imaging-based computer assisted surgery system.

Diagnostica’s founders have won Earnest & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year contest for 2006, in the start-up (early stage) category.
The relevant market space Diagnostica targets is one of high volume (over 300,000 surgical procedures / year in US for the initial product), high growth (7% a year), and high cost ($30,000 per patient). The addressable market for systems of Diagnostica's type contains 3-7 systems per hospital, worldwide (a $2.5B TAM)

Clinical cooperation
We develop a product for surgeons – and we develop it with surgeons. Not only we collaborate with research facilities, 3 orthopedic surgery experts are included in our team.
Diagnostica received Helsinki (ethic committee) approval in two major medical research centers, and will begin clinical experiments soon.

Oren Drori, Co-founder & CEO:
Drori brings 8 years of leadership experience. Before founding Diagnostica Drori served as head of marketing & top management member at the security vendor Commtouch (NASDAQ: CTCH). Prior to that Drori served as director of strategic marketing at Comverse (NASDAQ: CMVT) where he led the go-to-market of the company's next-generating product line. Drori holds an Economics MA (Summa Cum Laude) and Economics and Business-Management BA (Dean's list), both in Tel Aviv University. Drori was listed by Globes magazine among Israel's 40 most promising young executives, 2006.
Professor Shmuel Dekel (MD, PhD), Co-founder & Medical Director:
Dekel serves as chief of orthopedic surgery department at Sorasky Medical Center in Tel Aviv and holds an associate clinical professor of orthopedic surgery position in Tel Aviv University. Dekel is an active world known researcher with over 100 publications. He was listed by among Israel's top 5 orthopedic surgeons (Maariv, 2006) and holds a PhD in Molecular Biology (Oxford).
Ram Nathaniel, Co-founder & CTO:
Nathaniel is a high caliber mathematician and algorithms expert. He brings 12 years of experience in algorithm development and strong army background (8200). Prior to founding Diagnostica Nathaniel headed the algorithms team in IO-Image, providing video-based products for homeland security. Fields of expertise include Machine-Learning, Natural Language, Image and Video Processing. Nathaniel holds BA in Mathematics (Dean’s list), and MA in applied math & computer-science (Suma Cum Laude), both in Tel Aviv University.
Dan Rappaport, Chief Scientist (PhD):
Rappaport is a multidisciplinary expert with high level mathematical skills, strong engineering background and thorough physiological understanding, brought together in his medical imaging focus. He is a PhD in Bio-Medical Engineering, M.Sc. in Bio-Medical Engineering and a B.Sc. in Electronics Engineering (Dean's list) – all from the Technion, Haifa.
Eliezer Tokman, Executive Chairman:
Tokman is a distinguished veteran executive of the medical imaging industry. His 30 years of experience include to management roles in few of the most significant companies in the field.
Tokman served as an executive in Philips Medical Systems, in the role of Senior Vice President, Business Integration based in Cleveland US. In this capacity, Tokman led the post-merger project to re-structure and integrate Marconi Medical Systems ($1.6B sales) where he served as Senior Vice President for Product Strategies until the acquisition of Marconi by Phillips Medical.
During a 15-year career at Elscint, an innovative multi-modality medical imaging company, he served in a variety of management roles, including President of Elscint America and General Manager of the CT division.
