RMDS portal in the port of Haifa
Rotem Industries is currently finalizing the timetable for installation of our RMDS portal in the port of Haifa.
The advanced Spectroscopic Radiation Detection Portal was commissioned by the DNDO as part of America’s international Mega Port Initiative whereby all goods inbound will be subject to Customs and Excise before leaving the exporting port.
The DNDO decided to purchase the RMDS for the port of Haifa following initial testing in Israel where the port successfully passed a number of tests showing its ability to identify key isotopes under normal and extreme conditions.
