Backpack Mini UAV Radiation Detection System
The Casper 250 backpack mini UAV system provides reliable, high quality, real-time intelligence gathering using a super light weight stabilized payload. The Casper Radiation Detection version is part of the Israeli R&D effort to provide an intelligent and cost effective solution for rapid radiation detection.
Applications
CBRN First Responders
Special Search Teams
Nuclear Power Plants
An unattended solution for measurements of radiation levels over suspected site, for radioactive plume location and for the identification of lost radiation sources.
The radioactive risk assessment can be used in RDD (Radioactive Dispersal Device – “Dirty Bomb”) terror scenarios and radiological accidents.
• The missions: Large area surveys to identify radiation contamination boundaries.
• Search for illegal or stolen Radiation sources.
