WireXN Ltd.

The Company

WIREXN develops and markets a unique programming platform that will bring the desktop experience to Web Applications developers and users.

The Problem

Many enterprises need to provide Web access to their services whether internally or to their external users. These enterprise applications are required to provide a highly interactive user-interface, while being Web-compatible. Current developers are forced, by current programming platform limitations, to make the tradeoff between high interactivity and Web-availability;WireXN has designed Webplications to support both requirements and provide high interactivity over the Web.

Market Potential

The Application Design and Construction Tools market was 6.1B$ in 2002, according to an IDC report from February 2003, and estimated to grow at 5.5% rate, reaching 8B$ in 2007. Based on IDC’s market classification,WireXN estimates its potential market at 1.2B$ in 2007.

Technology (product) Description

The product is comprised of a component oriented language based development environment (design, coding, compilation and debugging) and a run-time environment that supports the load and execution of the developed applications over standard Web browser.

Competition

Among our competitors are the world’s largest software corporations. However, our patent-pending technology enables the building of highly interactive Web applications, without requiring mega R&D budgets.
There are two approaches for building rich UI applications: relying on desktop software technologies or relying only on standard Web software technologies (lately renowned as “AJAX”) – however the current solutions based on either approaches suffer from many deficiencies that are solved by our solution.

Company Status

2004 – The entrepreneur is granted $20,000 by the "Tnufa" fund for writing and filing the patent in USPT (2004) and PCT (2005) and for writing the Business Plan.
In June 2006 the Chief Scientist granted us the amount of $270,000 for two years R&D and initial business activities in the frame of a technological incubator (Dimona).
In order to secure the 2nd year portion we need too complement the grant with at least $50,000 private investment.
